This scene is a self portrait, depicting me working on the Epic Privateer Collection.

The story behind the piece:

This piece is called "Epic Privateer," it is the core painting of the body of work hat held the same title. In this self portrait, I wanted to capture the joy and excitement I was feeling whilst creating the EP collection, as a kind of meta-perspective on the whole thing, so as you can see I painted myself...painting myself.

The collection is full of codes and mysteries, and the papers on the walls within this painting hold the keys to de-code the important messages.

To this day, I still believe this is one of the most special pieces I've ever done. That is me in there. This painting has my true, honest-to-God spirit in it.
