Creating the Epic Privateer Collection has been my greatest creative challenge to date. The discovery that “Epic Privateer” was an anagram for “Piper Creative” came way before the vision for the collection. I sat on the secret for a month or so, painted waves in my studio, worked diligently on developing Piper, and eventually visions of the collection hit me. I’ve enjoyed every minute of this grand process. Over the past year, I’ve spent many late nights feeling like a mad scientist, sketching plans and creating codes, weaving an interactive element into this thing that otherwise is my life and joy on canvas. Telling my story in this way has allowed me to view and reflect on how I got here and who has helped me along the way.
